Customer Services Rep (CSR)
US BioTek is a growing laboratory in Shoreline with a Customer Servies Rep (CSR) an immediate full-time opportunity to join our Customer Services team! The successful candidate will be detail oriented with excellent customer service and problem-solving skills.
Salary Range: $17-$22/hr
Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Answer multi-line phones, providing friendly and knowledgeable service to customers in high-pressure scenarios
- Assist clients and vendors with inquiries, orders, or questions over the phone, in person, and via e-mail
- Manage inbox to ensure that emails have been properly and timely addressed in an organized manner
- Handle customer complaints, providing appropriate solutions and alternatives within the time limits
- Execute resolution to issues as instructed and approved
- Identify and assess customers’ needs to achieve satisfaction in accordance with Company policies and procedures
- Print kit orders and prep them for shipper to ship
- Print reports, sort and prep for postal
- Open, sort and distribute incoming correspondence and packages
- Assist the customer collection by calling customers as necessary
- Assist with kit assembly as necessary
- Assist in shipping and packing of kits on occasional basis
- Achieve personal/customer service team targets and quotas
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Qualifications:
- Effective and efficient phone handling skills and active listening
- Ability to multitask, prioritize and manage time effectively
- Excellent customer focus, interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel and typing skills
- Customer service call center work experience preferred but not required
Physical Requirements:
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be regularly required to sit, stand, walk, use hands to handle or feel, and talk or hear.
- The employee must be able to frequently lift and/or move up to 15 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
